Blossoms will run away -
Cakes reign but a day.
But memory like melody,
Is pink eternally

Christy

Here is the main theme of 1966 Italian cult movie The big gundown, performed in her powerful fashion by one of Ennio Morricone's most famous singers, C(h)risty.
Her real name is Maria Cristina Brancucci, she was born in Rome in 1940. She was famous in the sixties and seventies, and dubbed Barbra Streisand in the 1968 Italian version of Funny girl. She was famous for working for Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov and Alessandro Alessandroni.
You can listen to another song in the tribute to Daniela Bianchi (see Great actresses).
Enjoy Christy's fabulous voice!
