Blossoms will run away -
Cakes reign but a day.
But memory like melody,
Is pink eternally

Karen Wyman

Here is an exceptional rendition of a famous song from the musical comedy Maggie Flynn, performed by Karen Wyman on the Ed Sullivan Show.
A onetime pop wunderkind, Karen Wyman was discovered on the Dean Martin Show in 1969, aged only 16, then signed by Ed Sullivan for five shows. Gifted with a remarkably big, emotional singing voice, she appeared in many a TV show and Vegas club as well.
In the tradition of Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, or Eydie Gormé (all of them great influences, and Lainie Kazan and Pia Zadora share the same sock-it-to-’em approach), she was promised to a long, brilliant carreer but she stopped it in order to raise a family.
She recently went back to the stage and is still acclaimed by her many fans who never forgot her.
Enjoy the big, beautiful voice of Karen Wyman!

Why can't I walk away?
